In this instrumental performance program, in the context of a liberal arts institution, you will be provided with opportunities to perform and practice in multiple settings, including solo performance and in small and large ensembles.

At GCU, our instrumental performance program aims to deepen your understanding of music and prepare you for your future through multiple recitals, music literature reviews and classroom group training. Through an integration of theory; learning labs; and private, applied practice, you enhance your abilities in your preferred instrument. As a capstone to this program, you will demonstrate your talents with a formal public recital hosted by GCU?s music department.

An audition is required for acceptance into the instrumental performance degree program.
