Whether a student desires to work in private industry, the not-for-profit sector, or governmental entities, a degree in accounting can lead to a dynamic career with skills that are highly valued in the marketplace. The MAcc is a flexible program designed to fit students' career goals and is available to college graduates of all majors.

The Master of Accounting (MAcc) program from?Chatham University?requires students to take 30 credits (approximately ten courses). These include eight required core courses (24 credits) in the accounting curriculum and two elective courses (six credits.) The electives may be accounting courses or approved courses from Chatham's Master of Business Administration (MBA) curriculum. For students who do not have an accounting or business background, four additional pre-requisite courses will be required.?

MAcc courses at Chatham alternate class session weeks throughout the Fall and Spring semesters. Non-session weeks require coursework equal to the credit hour requirement for the course. This hybrid schedule makes the program more flexible and convenient for our students while offering the same academic rigor of typical courses.
