You can choose one of two major focus areas:

• Broadcast News: WSU offers the state's only comprehensive program in broadcasting. Prepares you to create professional radio and television news packages for radio and television stations, radio and television networks, and for independent reporting organizations.
• Multimedia Journalism: Prepares you to write and create multimedia packages that inform, investigate, explain and interpret current issues and emerging trends in politics, sports, performing arts, and contemporary life.

Practical experience and internships are built into the whole program, so you graduate with true professional experience.
