- An MBA degree is seen in the business world as an indication that you have a general knowledge of accounting, economics, finance, and management, particularly from a middle or upper management perspective. NAU's Master of Business Administration will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to meet the needs of today's leading organizations. The concentration in Information Technology Management is designed to train managers in the field of internet/cyber security.
- The U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS.gov) lists careers in information security as one of the fastest growing in the job market today. They estimate that over the next eight years, there will be a 35% increase in jobs in the field. Coursework covers topics such as device security, risk identification and analysis, critical control system security, and computer forensics, and incident handling. Students in some programs may be required to attend classes at different locations.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a 4-year bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university.
- A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required to be eligible for the program.
Work Experience Eligibility:
Students must hold a superior academic record and a minimum of five to six years of work and/or managerial experience.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
- Average GPA: 3.11
- GRE or GMAT is not required for admission.
