The music program is led by accomplished and caring faculty who give one-on-one attention to students in a nurturing community where competition is downplayed.
Majoring in Music involves the study of the history of music, music theory and composition, and the performance of one or more instruments. How does music convey emotions, thoughts and ideals? How are certain vocal techniques developed? How do computer-based music technologies work? You?ll specialize in one of three tracks (Applied Music, Music History, or Music Theory and Composition) as you take 44 credit hours towards a Bachelor of Arts degree.

Academic Requirements:
- Applicants should submit official transcripts of all secondary coursework completed
- Official transcripts need to be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency
- Submit an essay on a topic of your choice in minimum 500 words
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 59 in ibt
- IELTS: minimum 5.5
- Duolingo: minimum 90
- PTE: minimum 46
