The curriculum allows Liberal Arts and Engineering Studies students, in collaboration with students from all other Cal Poly majors, to participate in development teams working on national and international technology and cultural projects. To further prepare students for work with diverse teams that include participants from across the globe, the program strongly encourages students to spend three to six months studying and/or working abroad.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other educational institution attended
- Applicant must have completed the following courses: 2 years of history/social sciences, 4 years of English, 3 years of Mathematics, 2 years of laboratory science, 2 years of a language other than English, 1 year of visual/performing art, 1 year of electives
- Average weighted GPA of class 9-11 will be considered for admissions
- Activities such as work experience, internships, volunteer experiences will be taken into consideration for admissions
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
