Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- A bachelor's degree from a college or university accredited or not by an agency recognized by Missouri State University, a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.75 on a 4.00 scale; or at least a 2.75-grade point average on a 4.00 scale for the last 60 hours of academic course work, and a combined score on the verbal and quantitative sections of the Graduate Record Examination;
- Submit your score for the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) of 60th percentile on the listening comprehension section, if students are an international student
- Possess an undergraduate degree in a natural or applied science, including one semester of genetics and one semester of organic chemistry
- Contact the College of Agriculture to schedule a meeting with the graduate coordinator
- Receive a positive evaluation from the graduate coordinator prior to being recommended for admittance
