The purpose of this program is to facilitate the continuing professional development of practicing health professionals and physical education teachers.
The program is designed to be flexible so that it might meet the diverse professional development needs of practicing health professionals and physical education teachers. More specifically it seeks to meet the needs of teachers who are currently practicing as well as for area health specialists. Therefore, the programs rely on strong academic advising that will take into consideration the current knowledge and skills of program applicants when developing individual degree plans.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
- Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0 in all undergraduate coursework
- Submit GRE/MAT above 25th percentile scores if GPA is less than 2.5
- Submit resume/CV
- Submit 2 references
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 in PBT; 213 in CBT
