The program provides a blend of theory, technique and business sense, producing graduates well prepared to enter the industry as professional filmmakers and artists, not merely technicians. Students take courses in film history, ethics, aesthetics and theory and then apply the concepts they've learned in writing, shooting, directing and editing their own films.?Blending ?story? with ?technology,? students examine critical perspectives and practice implementing techniques in traditional 16 mm film and emerging digital formats.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all secondary school coursework and grades
- The official transcripts and grades should be translated into English
- Submit an essay written in English
- Submit a letter of recommendation from a counselor, teacher or headmaster
- Submit English Language Proficiency requirements
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 550 in PBT; 79 in iBT; 8.5 in Essentials
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 110
- Should complete the English 112 certificate offered by ELS Language Centers accompanied by a letter of recommendation from an administrator and a 500-word English writing sample.
