Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Dance] From University of Alabama

The Department of Theatre and Dance offers a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance. This program offers classes in ballet, modern dance and jazz technique as well as academic classes in choreography, anatomy/kinesiology, dance history and teaching. The dance program also provides performance opportunities. The Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre, a pre-professional student company, presents two concerts of faculty and guest artist works per year. There are also two Dance Alabama! concerts per year which present choreography by University of Alabama students. Admission to the Dance program is by audition only.
