SVSU's Professional Accountancy degree meets the minimum requirements for graduates to take the CPA examination. Careers in accounting include public, government and not-for-profit accounting. Academic Requirements:

  • Submit official transcripts or high school transcript evaluation 
  • Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES or AICE member agency
  • Minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent is required on a scale of 4
  • Submitting score of ACT/SAT is optional
  • Submit English Language Proficiency test scores

English Language Requirements:

  • TOEFL: minimum 61 in iBT
  • IELTS: minimum score of 5.5
  • PTE: minimum score of 45
  • Duolingo: minimum score of 85
  • SAT: overall score of minimum 900
  • ACT: composite score of 18
