By design, the program emphasizes the emerging trend of data analytics in the practice of accounting, with a standard course plan that leads to a graduate concentration in data analytics in accountancy to fulfill the graduate electives.
Students have the choice of remaining in the standard course plan or selecting from among the following alternative graduate concentrations to fulfill the graduate elective requirement: finance, corporate governance and international business, information technology and control, business and public policy, real estate, and supply chain management. Students who wish to deviate from the standard course plan, but do not wish to pursue a listed graduate concentration, may petition to take other graduate courses of interest subject to approval of an Accountancy Advisor.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Must have a bachelors degree from an accredited college in accounting
- Should have minimum GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0
- Submit resume
- Students may submit GRE/GMAT scores
- Submit statement of purpose describing previous experience in accounting and other academic achievements
- Provide two letters of recommendation out of which one should be from an accounting faculty
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in IBT
- IELTS academic: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 115 required
Indian Student Specific Requirements:
- Must have scored 55 or more in bachelors degree
- Must have completed 4 years bachelors degree or 3 years bachelors degree + 2 years masters degree
