In subsequent years, they receive an intensive grounding in the current concerns of photo-based art while refining their technical skills in digital photography, video, and traditional darkroom processes. Through a rigorous conceptual and studio-based curriculum, students develop their own individual styles and subject matter.

When applying to the BFA program, applicants should submit approximately 20 images of artwork and/or up to 10 minutes of time-based work.? While applicants may submit a variety of single images to show competency in multiple media and approaches to art-making, it is most helpful to see at least one larger series that demonstrates how an idea has been developed over an extended period of time.

In the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fine Art Photography program, students receive an intensive grounding in the current concerns of photo-based art while refining their technical skills and developing their own individual styles and subject matter.
