The management engineering major offers the ability to gain depth in management principles while still being able to focus on technical interests.
Graduates of this program go on to apply their complex knowledge of management and engineering to design and deliver solutions for manufacturing, product development, and service delivery.
MGE is a popular double major for many WPI undergraduates.
The BSC in Management Engineering curriculum lets students tailor a course of study based on their interests and career goals.
Students will complete basic introductory courses in math, calculus, statistics, science, and computer science.
Students will complete the Management core courses and six technical courses.
The MGE major allows students who begin in one discipline, such as engineering, science, or mathematics, to apply a portion of their prior course work if they switch to MGE.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission with a minimum 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 GPA.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Obtain a score of 61 or higher on the PTE English section.
