- The Ph.D. in educational policy and leadership is a 69-credit plus dissertation program that can be completed either full or part-time.
- Students may receive credit for courses taken as part of a related master’s degree.
- Graduates are prepared to enter high-level teaching, research, or leadership posts in the field of educational policy and leadership and are prepared to draw from, and critically apply, information from the relevant knowledge and skill base.
- Students will obtain a working knowledge of different philosophical approaches to policy adoption and implementation, and learn how to lead policy initiatives in government agencies, analyze policy for research and advocacy organizations, and succeed in faculty positions.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from a college or university of recognized standing.
- Students must achieve and maintain at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE scores.
- Students are required to submit the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) scores.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Students should submit required official and complete individual mark skeets for each examination attempt, including subsidiary exams.
- Photocopies of student's mark sheets are accepted only when they are attested by the University Registrar or Controller of Examinations and placed in a sealed, stamped envelope that is sent directly to the Graduate School.

International applicants are required to apply for an F-1 or J-1 student Visa. As per the application process of universities in the USA, a student needs to have the following basic documents to procure a US student visa.
- A valid passport that has a validity of a minimum of 6 months after students stay in the country
