The MS Agronomy program is a professional degree program, which contains more credits of focused coursework than research. This is different than a traditional on-campus Agronomy program, which emphasizes research. The program was originally designed for professionals working in industry and government, but has grown to include students from business, teaching and other professions.??
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- Iowa State requires a degree it considers comparable to a US bachelor’s or higher degree from a regionally accredited college or university prior to beginning graduate studies.
- A cumulative grade point average equivalent to a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (B grade) is required for unrestricted admission.
