Since 1871, we have helped create new developments in the field of family and consumer sciences education, increase the knowledge base through research, and prepare professionals to be leaders in creating changes in society.
If you choose the education option, you may gain license to teach grades 7-12 with a focus on parenting, money management, nutrition and wellness, and family life skills; or teach adults and youth in settings such as community colleges, Cooperative Extension, and youth and community programs.
