Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Neuroscience] From Auburn University

Academic Eligibility: 

• Students must graduate from a U.S. high school.
• Students must have their foreign transcripts evaluated by an independent credentials evaluator.
• Students are required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

• Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores. 
• Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission. 

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.

TOEFL, PTE, and IELTS scores are only considered official when they are sent to the Office of Admissions directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS).

As with most degree programs, the more practical experience that you get, the more likely it is that you will get a job in your field. Therefore, we recommend that students who do not intend to go to graduate or professional school seek out additional opportunities such as research, internships, part-time jobs, and volunteering that will strategically position them for a neuroscience-related career. 

Undergraduate neuroscience majors typically earn advanced degrees in neuroscience or a related field like psychology, and many choose to go to medical school and pursue a career as a physician, surgeon, psychiatrist, psychologist, neuroscientist*, genetic counselor, substance abuse, and behavioral disorder counselor,
