Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a bachelor's degree or the recognized equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Applicants have completed a minimum of one basic course each in the life, earth, and social sciences. In addition, graphics and freehand drawing are strongly recommended for applicants with non-design backgrounds.
- Students hold a satisfactory scholastic average, usually a minimum grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B) on a 4.0 scale.
- Sufficient undergraduate training to do graduate work in your chosen area of study.
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.

The following required documents are:
- Resume/CV: It is the outline of academic achievements and/or awards, publications, relevant work, and/or volunteer experience.
- Three Letter of Recommendation: Letter of recommendation (combination of professional and academic recommenders) which includes information about the student, their connection with the person they are recommending, their qualification, and the specific skills they have.
- Statement of Purpose - This is an essay or any written statement written by the student while applying.
- Personal History Statement: It describes how their background, accomplishments, and life experiences led to their decision to pursue the graduate degree for which they are applying.
- College Transcripts: The marks statement provided by the education board after completion of the previous academic qualifications.
- Portfolio: A digital portfolio is required for applicants. The portfolio may contain up to 12 pages (8-1/2"x11"-format) of design content.
- Publication, Report, or Writing Sample: The publication, report, or writing sample should support the applicant's Statement of Purpose and clearly demonstrate research and writing abilities and/or analytical skills.
- ELP Scores: Students have to submit their English language proficiency scores like IELTS, TOEFL, or other test scores.
