I chose RMIT university primarily because of its location. Being in the heart of Melbourne city meant there were plenty of employment opportunities right near campus. Surrounded by public transport I have multiple ways of getting to and from class with ease.

Course Curriculum

7

The course curriculum seems to be a good fit for me. The assignments tend to build up and be due all around the same time which can be daunting but also allows for a clear structure and planning schedule.

Fees

Fees are all able to be put on a hex loan so you do not need to pay upfront or build much interest.

Examination Structure

I haven't had any exams as of yet but they seem to place within a 2 week period at the end of each semester. Some are multiple choice others are short and long answer questions: exams do not count as your complete grade, assessment is also taken into account.

Faculty

7

The faculty is impressive although if you're in need of help you must seek it out on your own rather than they follow up with you. This can be daunting for first-year students but eventually teaches resilience and independence.
