- Psychology professionals seek to understand how the mind works and why people behave the way they do. Human Services professionals have a desire to improve people's quality of life. Both professions ultimately seek to provide strategies that can help people live happier, healthier and more productive lives. This double degree will prepare for a career in the health, wellbeing, community or disability services. The complementary knowledge of human behavior student'll gain from the psychology component will give an edge in a variety of careers.
