  • Humber’s Bachelor of Commerce in Finance program includes 8 semesters with  Honours.
  • Students are required to complete 14 weeks hours of paid work in the summer between their sixth and seventh semesters.
  • Humber’s Bachelor of Commerce – Finance degree program offers comprehensive knowledge of both business and finance.
  • The college program starts with a foundation of business studies in areas such as organizational behavior, law, economics, finance, accounting, marketing, and operations management.
  • Specialization courses will focus on theories, methods, and techniques in various aspects of finance including analysis, planning, and risk management.
  • College project-based curriculum, designed by industry experts, helps students develop the skills to move from idea to execution, all while learning core business concepts and financial strategies.
  • A senior-level project in student’s final year will give them experience in problem-solving, evaluating strengths and limitations, and making appropriate decisions in a real-world, team-based environment.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including these required courses:

  • Grade 12 English (ENG4U or equivalent) minimum 65 percent.
  • Grade 12 Mathematics (MDM4U, MCB4U, MGA4U, MCV4U or MHF4U or equivalent) minimum 60 percent 

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Students must meet the minimum requirements in English and maths subjects up to 60%, after receiving an admission offer.
  • Students will need to submit school results for Class XI showing a competitive average and course registration for Class XII, or Class XII mid-year results.
  • Students in CBSE or CISCE schools, they present 75%+ on their final Class XII exams.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
