Bachelor of Science in Biology at York University is offered as 3 years teaching program.

BSc in Biology is the first bilingual program in Southern Ontario to offer courses in English and French.
This program is for those interested in conservation biology, animal behavior, ecology, and other areas of biology.

As a Glendon student, they can also take biology classes on the Keele campus, in York's oldest science program, where many professors are employed, who are world-renowned for their teaching and research.

The program includes advanced research opportunities that are rarely offered at the undergraduate level.
Students will get the opportunity to regularly test research, learn theory through practice (for example, on-campus insect sampling) and help drive entrepreneurship and innovation in their field.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must complete an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) degree.
Students must have to complete the following course such as:
- English (ENG4U)
- Advanced Functions (MHF4U) or French (FRA4U)
- Biology (SBI4U)
- Chemistry (SCH4U)
- And two additional 4U or M courses - recommendation (s) below:
  - SPH4U
  - 4U French
To gain admission to this program, the student’s academic average should be in the low-to-mid 80s.

Indian Student Eligibility

Indian students are eligible to apply if they have any one of the following certificates:

All-India Senior School Certificate (AISSCE)
Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC)
Indian School Certificate (ISC)
Intermediate Examination Certificate
Pre-University Examination Certificate
Students also have to complete the Grade XII biology, chemistry, and math.
Students are also required to complete the Grade XII physics and Grade XII French.
