Students will learn the foundations of mathematical statistics with application to areas such as mining data for information and measuring uncertainty in experiments and surveys.

- Bachelor of Arts Honours(BA Hons)
- Bachelor of Arts Specialized Honours (BA Spec. Hons)
- Bachelor of Science Specialized Honours (BA Spec. Hons)
- An Honours Minor (BA/BSc) in Statistics is also possible
Students are recruited by major consulting firms and government agencies.
Students completing an accredited list of courses will satisfy the education requirements of the Associate Statistician professional designation (A.Stat.) conferred by the Statistical Society of Canada.
In this program, students will learn statistical theory and methodology as well as the necessary mathematical foundations.
The student-faculty ratio of the program is 35:1 and students can also prepare for graduate studies in statistics.
Students will gain practical expertise by analyzing data and working on real-world problems in project courses and the capstone course with the professors, who work on big data, biostatistics and bioinformatics, and statistical machine learning.
University encourages students to explore the program to learn more about academic programs, courses, students, professors, cutting-edge research, activities, and more.

Students must complete an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) degree.
Students must have to complete the following course such as:

- MHF4U
- SBI4U or SCH4U or SPH4U
- And three additional 4U or M courses - recommendation(s) below:

To gain admission to this program, student’s academic average should be in the high 70s to mid-80s.
