  • Master's level graduates will be able to function as associate investigators in their selected area of interest. With their increased knowledge of the theoretical basis of practice, they will be able to play a role in evolving health care systems.
  • The program offers three MSc streams:
    • thesis
    • course-based
    • course-based Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner.
  • For the Thesis-Based master's degree, students will: demonstrate the ability to apply advanced scientific theory to their professional practice; demonstrate knowledge of appropriate clinical research methods, including the development of clinical measures and the determination of clinical and program efficacy; complete four required and at least one additional approved half courses; complete and defend a thesis arising from a health care issue.
  • To qualify for the masters course-based Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner program, applicants must have worked full-time as a registered nurse for two years.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

  • Students have to complete an honors bachelor's degree in a related field from a recognized university.
  • Students must have a B+ minimum average grade, based on a full-year equivalent of final year courses (3rd/4th level) relevant to the program.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

  • Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
  • Or, completed a 3-year UG degree must have a substantial background in nursing or a related field.

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
