Sharing Apartments - about $500

I select this University because of my course. It's only one university in Canada that offers Masc. safety& risk engineer course. Additionally, it's a renowned university in NL.

I lived on campus for my first two years- which was a huge help in many ways. Moving to Newfoundland not knowing in person, residence proves as a very encouraging way to make friends without having the pressure to go out of your own way. The meal hall was right across from my residence- a 30 second walk. This was extremely convenient, especially in the winter as Newfoundland weather is unpredictable. All of the residences were attached to underground tunnels as well, which meant a not even having to go outside to get to class!

I wanted to move away from home (Nova Scotia) and Memorial was the cheapest option of tuition while still being able to get out of the province. I applied to 3-4 colleges, all of them being local besides Memorial. My graduation score from high school was 85% and I did get into all schools I applied to.

I lived on campus only for the first semester. However, it was really expensive. Moreover, I am a Muslim and there were very few items for halal. After that, I have been living in an apartment which is much cheaper.

The tuition fee is much cheaper than most other Canadian Universities. Moreover, it has good faculty in engineering programs. I want to be a mechatronics engineering. There are only a few universities in Canada that have this subject. Plus with my 12th-grade result I also managed to get around 6000$ scholarship.

I opted for this college because the tuition fee for this college is relatively lower than any other Canadian university. Also, it is the most reputed college with the lowest tuition fee in Canada. Also, I wanted to study in this university as many of my friends study in here.

I loved living in residence. The food there was not good and if I had any recommendations it would be to change the company that is operating the dining hall. But the building I lived in was very clean, close to everything, and I made so many great friends.

The price of tuition in this college was significantly less than any others in my area and it had the best business school in Atlantic Canada which was very important to me. It was close to home and I also heard great things about the social aspects.

The Residence is available and costs about 5000 per semester. Food isn't great, and you are required to have a meal plan, there are also on-campus apartments; most people live off-campus. There is much rental space in the area and others further away with decent bus service.

Mainly because I could stay in my home province to do what I wanted which means a significant break on tuition and fees because of my location. I knew people, and I could stay close to those I loved and cherished.
