Career prospects for students pursuing Computer Science degrees are very high. Since I am a first year student, I do not have clear information on study placements.

I chose Ryerson University as I was really impressed by the courses offered for my program (Computer Science). The courses look very interesting and the syllabus is updated, unlike other universities which have outdated structures. I also preferred the location of Ryerson university, as its at the heart of Toronto, in downtown. I heard a lot of positive thing about professors and faculties at Ryerson, so did not hesitate and so far its been amazing.

Ryerson Alumni is really famous for software engineering jobs. Students have had places in huge companies like Google, IBM, Facebook and many more. The prospects for a person graduating with a Cs degree are very high, it is competitive but definitely good networking can make it easier for you.

I chose Ryerson University as I was really impressed by the courses they were teaching for my program (Computer Science). The courses look very interesting and real life, unlike other universities which have outdates structures. Also Ryerson is located at the heart of Toronto in Downtown, which is a place I preferred to stay in.

I ideally wanted to go to university close to home. out of the 3 well known universities around me, Ryerson was the only one that stood out the most to me because of its business faculty. The location of the university is in the heart of downtown Toronto which gives me good job opportunities closer to the school. Ryerson is also a university which promotes diversity which is very important to me personally.

Ryerson offers a lot of placement opportunities for IT graduates, so the scope of placement is quite high as compared to another university in Ontario.

Internship

No, I had not got any such opportunities till now.

The place and job opportunities are limited; this program forces you to find opportunities outside of the program. They will guide you, but will not give you the opportunities. There is a Faculty of community service facebook page that people would post job opportunities.

Internship

Yes; Ryerson offers their career boast to domestic student. It is a great was to work a flexible job without commuting so far. The managers are often profs and staff of the university. They are very understanding when it comes to scheduling. Average number of hours is 20.

Because I like the program they offer and have the best campus and a lot more. Another reason it's great to go to Ryerson if you love City life and chillax at downtown, it's not that safe but yea with limitations and being legal to do anything is considered fine. To get into my program I needed OSSD.

I opted into this particular college is because it is very close to my home. It is in fact walking distance. Another reason is because the requirements to get into the college was not too hard or too easy.

My program doesn't offer a placement. But there are constantly job fairs and luncheons to meet employers for the various fields involved in the faculty. From what I have heard from other students the placements and jobs that they have acquired while at Ryerson have been phenomenal.

Internship

The university does provide internships in numerous programs and faculties, but my particular program there is no required internship or placement that is needed to graduate so I am currently not in an internship position.

Due to the skills gained from this program, students are competent to work for a variety of jobs, not only interior design. We can use our transferable skills to further grow and learn in the work force in any design discipline.

Internship

My college does not offer internship or co-op but they require you to independently find and report on your internship for a course. Academic Coordinator posts internships and entry design positions regularly, but students are encourage to self report and reflect on internship.

I chose this program because it is close to home, I liked the program they offered, in the city, the best school near me for social work, a prestigious school that will look good on a resume, and easily accessible by taking transit.
