This program prepares to meet a broad range of special educational needs resulting from students’ cognitive, social, and sensory differences. Including those resulting from learning disabilities, emotional disorders, behavioral disorders, giftedness, and developmental delay.
The program combines condensed two-week summer classes with 12-week online classes in fall and spring—allowing you to continue your teaching employment throughout the program.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an undergraduate degree in education or a relevant field.
Students require a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.
Students also need a statement of objectives and interests, an academic research paper, and two reference letters.

Language Requirments:

Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
