Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have a GPA of 1.7 on a 4.0 scale.
- Completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing (equivalent to the degree offered by the University of Ottawa) with at least 70% or Grade B average while applying for admission.
- Have successfully completed an introductory statistics course within the last six (6) years.
- This course must be completed prior to commencing the program or, if not, during the first term in the program.
- A current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario or equivalent from another province is required.
Work Experience:
- The equivalent of two years of recent nursing practice as an enrolled nurse, preferably in the chosen area of concentration, is strongly recommended.
Language Requirments:
- The students must be able to understand and fluently speak the language of instruction (French or English) in the program. Proof of linguistic proficiency may be required.
- The students whose official language is not English must submit the English Language Proficiency scores like IELTS or TOEFL.
Indian Student Eligibility:
- The students must have completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing with 70% marks.
