Vaagdevi Engineering College, Telangana Admission 2024: Registration, Courses, Eligibility, Selection Process

The institute provides admission to the B.Tech course under 5 specializations. 10+2 qualified students are eligible for applying.

Admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in either TS-EAMCET or JEE Mains.

Specializations:

VEC B.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should have passed or appeared for a 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry from a recognized board/ university.
• Students should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.

VEC B.Tech Selection Criteria:

• Candidates who have qualified TS EAMCET have to appear for the counseling.
• The final admission is only through the counseling process based on the rank obtained in the entrance exam.
• Candidates will have to select the college during the counseling.
• Selected candidates will be informed through a call and they need to report at the college for admission along with their documents.
• Applicants who have a valid score in JEE Main are also offered admission in the course.
• Such candidates need not appear in counseling.
• Candidates can take direct admission under management quota by filling the application form available at VEC official website or at the college office; the fee structure is different for management quota.

There are 8 specializations in the M.Tech course and admission to the course will be based on the marks secured in the TS PGECET. 

Candidates with B.Tech or B.E degree in the relevant subject can apply for admission to further M.Tech from Vaagdevi Engineering College.

Specializations:

VEC M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates must have completed B.E./B.Tech or its equivalent degree in relevant branch of engineering with minimum 50% (45% marks in case of reserved categories) marks from AICTE/ UGC approved institute.
• Students must have a qualified TS PGECET exam.

VEC M.Tech Selection Criteria:

• Admission is through a counseling process based on the rank obtained in the Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TS PGECET).
• Candidates have to select the college at the time of counseling.
• Based on the rank obtained and college selected, seat allotment will be done
• Selected candidates will be intimidated through a call.
• All the selected candidates need to report at the college for further admission process along with valid documents.

The institute offers admission to the MBA programme. Students with a graduation degree in any stream can apply for admission to the course.

VEC MBA Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree holder in any subject.
• At least 50% (45% marks in case of reserved categories) marks secured from a recognized university.

VEC MBA Selection Criteria:

• Candidates are selected for admission through counseling based on the rank obtained in the TS ICET exam.
• During counseling, selected applicants have to pick VEC as the preferred college.
• Based on the rank and choice, seats are allocated.
• After the allotment, applicants need to report at the college to complete the admission process.
