B.J. Medical College(BJMC) is a medical college situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat India. Affiliated to Gujarat University, BJMC is one of the largest medical institutes in the country. The college was founded as Ahmedabad Medical School in 1871, which was renamed as B.J. Medical College.
The college offers Medical courses to the aspiring candidates who want to make their career in the field of Medical Science. The courses offered are MBBS at undergraduate level; MD,MS and Diploma at postgraduate levels; and superspeciality courses like DM and M.Ch.
Admission is done on the basis of NEET UG and NEET PG score for undergraduate and postgraduate courses respectively except Diploma, DM and M.Ch. for which marks scored in pre-qualifying examination is required.

BJ Medical College offers Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) to the candidates who want to pursue their career in the field of Medical Science. The course is offered for 5.5 years which includes internship too. The intake capacity is 250 seats.

At postgraduate level, BJ Medical College offers Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) in 20 specializations each. The duration period for each of the specializations is three years. The college also offers Diploma courses in ten specializations. The total number of seats available depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.
Eligible candidates will have to appear in NEET PG conducted by the National Board of Education (NBE) for admission in MD and MS. However, in order to meet the eligibility criteria candidates must hold Graduate Degree in MBBS from any recognized university.Registration for NEET PG can be made from the official website
Admission in Diploma is done on the basis of marks obtained in pre-qualifying examination.
