Gujarat University Scholarships

SHODH (system of developing high-quality research)

This scholarship is provided by Gujarat University to financially support students conducting qualitative research. Full-time research scholars receive funding under this program, which amounts to INR 15,000 per month.

Additionally, the University provides financial aid for post secondary education for students who are part of the Mukhymantri Yuva Swavlamban Yojana. Gujarat University scholarships are also provided to the members of the lower backward class or SC/ST for better education and financial support. The university covers more than 30 scholarship programs launched by the Gujarat government.

Library: Gujarat University has a huge stock in the library. It has a total number of 1,700 books and 170 periodicals. The Gujarat University Reading Centre is connected with the university central library building. Around 400 students can get the reading facility at the Reading Centre at a time.
Seminar Hall & Class Rooms: The university has an air-conditioned seminar hall that is used for conducting seminars, lectures, and other educational purposes. It has a seating capacity of 80 people at a time. There are spacious classrooms in the University. The rooms are well-equipped with the internet, LAN facility and Projector.
Sports: The university has an excellent sports complex which is spread out on 47 acres, within the university campus. There are 400 M Track with Pavilion, a basketball Cement Court, 2 Tennis Court, 1 Hockey ground, 2 Volleyball Courts, 1 Cricket Ground, 1 Kabaddi & Kho Kho ground, a Multipurpose hall for physical education activities and a gymnasium so that students can boost up their physical fitness.

As far as the admission process is concerned in Gujarat University, all over the admission process is good and simple. Transparency and the Simplicity I have seen. Also the fees of college is nominal and it would helpful for the students coming from the middle class family. Talking about Eligibility course for admission the candidate should passed out 12th standard. Students all over the India can apply for the admission. Reservation benefits were not availed by me. All admission is however good enough and as per my views I don't think any improvement needed in Admission process because the whole process is of online, so there is a saving of time and money. It reduces the paper work since all the process are in electronic platform. It helps the students to apply for the admission from anywhere, I mean there is any restriction on admission.
