NRI Medical College, Guntur Admission 2024: Dates, Courses, Fees, Entrance Exam, Eligibility Criteria

NRI Medical College offers MBBS course at UG level. Candidates applying must have passed 10+2 from Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology or Biology as optional subjects including a practical test in each subject. Candidate shall not be admitted to the MBBS course unless he/she has completed the age of 17-year on or before December 31, 2019. Admissions are granted on the basis of NEET entrance exam conducted by CBSE.

Key Points:

• For candidates belonging to Schedule Castes, Schedule Tribes and Other Backward Classes 
  the qualifying marks are 40% instead of 50%.
• Marks obtained in Mathematics are not to be considered for admission to MBBS course.
• Candidates passing HSC from a board or institution located outside of Andhra Pradesh have to produce a Certificate of Equivalence from the Registrar, Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, A.P, Vijayawada, India.

Minimum eligibility for applying for M.Ch and DM course is Master’s degree or its equivalent in the relevant discipline. All candidates seeking admission to M.Ch or DM course must have done permanent registration with Medical Council of India.

All the seats of M.Ch and DM courses are filled considering performance of candidate in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test – Super Specialty (NEET-SS). Admission to all the seats of Super Specialty courses is on the basis of counselling conducted by the Director General of Health Services, New Delhi.

           Note: NEET SS paper is of 2 hours and 30 minutes and consists of 200 MCQs for 1 mark each and .25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
