Swatantra Institute of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation was established in the year 1999. SIPR was established by the Ganni Subba Lakshmi Trust under the patronage of SIMS. The institute is recognized by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. It is affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences (A P), Vijayawada and is also approved by the (IAP) Indian Association of Physiotherapy. It was established to impart education to the students in the field physiotherapy Medical science. It offers with 4 ½ duration BPT program and 2 year duration MPT program. The institute has state of the art infrastructure with vital and essential equipments and facilities for the faculty and students. The faculty members of the college are qualified and have relevant experience in their field of expertise and impart best of education to the students.

The students in their internship period gets practical training on the various aspects related to the physiotherapy medical science. The institute is attached to 250 bedded Multi-specialties Hospital and also to 1,000 bedded G.S.L. general hospital, where the students gets the opportunity of learn, observe, and conduct practical’s under supervision and guidance qualified& dedicated faculty.
