VGSoM IIT-KGP Ph.D. Eligibility

The institute offers a Ph.D. in Management with the following specializations:

• Finance and Accounting
• Marketing
• Organizational Behaviour & Human Resources
• Production & Operations Management
• Business Analytics & Information Systems
• General Management

To be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. program, the candidates must possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Candidates seeking admission to the Ph.D. program must possess a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate in Engineering/Science or Commerce/Management.
• Or a minimum of 55% marks in Humanities or Social Science.

VGSoM IIT-KGP Ph.D. Selection Criteria

Admission will be granted on the basis of a written entrance test followed by an interview.

Exam Pattern

• The exam will comprise of 3 sections:
  • Quantitative Aptitude (17 marks)
  • English and Verbal Ability (33 marks)
  • Descriptive Section (30 marks)
• The exam will be conducted for a total of 80 marks.
• There will be no negative marking.
