About
Alpha College of Engineering (ACE), Poonamalle, Chennai is run by the Alpha Educational Society, a non-profit educational body registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. The Alpha College of Engineering (established in 2006) is affiliated to Anna University and approved by AICTE. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Management, and many more.
AEC is ISO 9001:2008 Certified for Academic Standards by Internationally Acclaimed TUV Suddeutschland, Germany. ACE received India’s top Higher Education Jury Award for One of the Best 50 Private Engineering Colleges Award – 2023.

Alpha College of Engineering Placement
The Career Development Cell of Alpha College of Engineering (ACE) is focused on aiding the Academic Departments of ACE in creating employable graduates for the industry who will shape the country’s future. ACE conducts tranings on Communication Skills and Soft Skills to develop confidence among students during the placement drive. The CDC also conducts aptitude trainings on analytical reasoning, logical reasoning, verbal and nonverbal reasoning for the students. ACE is a member of ICTACT Academy which helps to develop the required skills of the students through their Youth Circle Program and has also signed an MOU with ICTACT for creating Center of Excellence for Data Analytics Programme.
Alpha College of Engineering has collaboration with IEEE, the world’s largest technical organization that conducts seminar and technical events to bring awareness to the engineering students in advancing technology for the benefit of humanity.
