Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research (ACEAR), Ambala was established in 2002 under Shri Ram Swarup Memorial Trust. It is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is recognised by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Haryana and Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD), Haryana. The vision of the college is to become a source of technology and start an Incubation Centre for entrepreneurs resulting in this region developing into a vibrant industrial hub with many startup companies dealing with new technology. The mission of the college is to impart quality engineering education to students through quality teaching, hands on training, and applied research in practical and product oriented projects. The Institute is located at Devasthali, near Mithapur, 11 Km from Ambala Cantt, on the Ambala-Jagadhari Highway. The campus is spread over an area of more than 27 acres in a quiet peaceful and pollution-free environment.
