About Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research
Ambala College of Engineering and Applied Research (ACEAR), Ambala was established in 2002 under Shri Ram Swarup Memorial Trust. It is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is recognised by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Haryana and Ministry of Human Resource & Development (MHRD), Haryana. The vision of the college is to become a source of technology and start an Incubation Centre for entrepreneurs resulting in this region developing into a vibrant industrial hub with many startup companies dealing with new technology. The mission of the college is to impart quality engineering education to students through quality teaching, hands on training, and applied research in practical and product oriented projects. The Institute is located at Devasthali, near Mithapur, 11 Km from Ambala Cantt, on the Ambala-Jagadhari Highway. The campus is spread over an area of more than 27 acres in a quiet peaceful and pollution-free environment.

The hostels facility is available for both boys and girls separately with a capacity of 250 male and 129 female residents. There are 03 hostels for boys with 52 triple seated rooms and 94 single seated rooms and 02 for girls with 25 triple seated rooms and 54 single seated rooms. |
