The Institute offers M. Tech Structural Engineering with 18 seats and the competition to get admitted to the same is very tough.

GATE Examination takes place in February for the current final year UG students. Candidates with good scores in GATE 2018 can also apply for PG here.

Students who have cleared their +2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board and have cleared JEE Mains examination can apply for B. Tech Engineering courses. JEE Main Examination will be held in April .

Candidates can apply for the courses through their JEE Main scores from the month of June. After successful completion of +2 Science with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science with a minimum of 45% of aggregate marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry /Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science is a must.

• Candidates can opt for any one of online examination or Paper-Based examination.
• For admission to B.Tech Lateral entry (B.Sc.), the students must have passed Bachelor’s Degree Examination of three years duration in Science from University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
• For admission to B.Tech Lateral entry (B.Sc), the students must have Bachelor’s degree with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) and must have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
• For admission to B.Tech. Lateral entry (Diploma Engineering), the students must have passed three years diploma examination (two years in case of Lateral entry Diploma) in Engineering /Technology from State Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (SCTE&VT).

AIET offers Diploma courses in 5 disciplines. The seats are limited and offered in merit basis. Students must have completed their 10^th schooling from any recognized board.

For Admission to 1st Semester Diploma in Engineering, the students must have passed HSC examination conducted by BSE, Odisha/10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha and must have obtained at least 35% marks in aggregate. The students must have secured 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination with English, Math and Science subjects.

For admission to 3rd Semester Diploma in Engineering (Lateral), the candidate must have passed in +2 Science Examination from CHSE, ODISHA or its equivalent examination with PCM/ +2 vocational (2 years course) in any Engineering Trades/2 years ITI in Engineering Trade/COE Trade. With this, the candidate must have passed pass in HSC examination conducted by BSE Odisha /10th standard examination declared equivalent by BSE, Odisha securing 30% marks in each subject at the qualifying examination.
