BP Poddar Institute of Management and Technology offers B.Tech program in four specializations.The intake capacity varies for each of the specializations. The institute also offers B.Tech Lateral Entry in same specializations for the duration of three years.

Admission to B.Tech (Regular) is offered on the basis of score of JEE Main or WBJEE.  For B.Tech Lateral Entry, the candidates have to qualify in JELET conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).

90% of the total seats are filled through WBJEE and remaining 10% are filled through JEE Main. If seats remain vacant, then such seats are filled by the candidates holding a valid rank in WB JEE or JEE Main examination.

Apart from the technical courses, the institute also offers a three-year full-Time BBA and BCA programs at UG level.

Candidate willing to take admission in the BBA must have passed 10+2 with English or Functional English while BCA requires a 10+2 pass with English or Functional English along with Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Application/ Business Mathematics & Statistics/ Business Economics including Business Mathematics/ Modern Computer Application or Information Practice (with pass mark). The admission is completely merit-based.

At postgraduate level, the institute offers MCA program with an annual intake of 40 seats. The course duration for MCA is three years. A Bachelor’s Degree in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria. Students have to qualify in JECA to secure admission.
