Baba Farid College of Engineering and Technology is located at Bhatinda, managed by Baba Farid Vidyak Society which was found in 1993. The college offers several Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses in the field of Science, Engineering and Technology.

Admission to the UG courses at Baba Farid College is done on the basis of marks obtained in the Joint Entrance Examination (mains), whereas admission to the PG course is given to the candidates on the basis of merit in the pre qualifying examination.

The college offers Undergraduate courses in the field of Engineering and Technology to the willing candidates. The B.Tech programme is offered under six different specializations. All the regular B.Tech courses are of a period of four years. The college also offers B.Tech programme under lateral entry.

Candidates who have studied and passed 10+2 level or equivalent in concerned subjects will have to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION. Admission to the B.Tech courses are given to the candidates on the basis of merit in the JEE examination.

Baba Farid College of Engineering M.Tech Admission 2023

At Postgraduate level, the college offers Master of Technology degree with the duration of 2 years. The M.Tech programme is offered with two different specializations : Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering.

Admission to the M.Tech programme is done on the basis of merit in the pre-qualifying examination. Candidates with valid GATE score will be given preference.
