The institute offers B.Tech in 7 specializations. Applicants must possess HSC with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject as one of the optional subjects.

Candidates who hold a Diploma in Engineering can also apply. The minimum qualifying marks are 50%. Eligible candidates can apply through the forms available at the portal.

The admission is done through a valid score in MHT-CET. The institute prepares the merit list of all the eligible candidates who hold a valid MHT-CET score.

Key points:

• A vacancy created due to cancelation of admission in any manner shall be filled up by the other candidate on the merit basis as per the rules of the institute.
• Candidates not reporting for admission as per the schedule shall forfeit their claim for admission.

The institute offers M.Tech in 5 specializations and MBA in 6 specializations. Applicants must hold B.E/ B.Tech degree in the relevant disciplines to apply for M.Tech.  For MBA and MCA, the minimum educational qualification is graduation in any discipline or an equivalent qualification from any institute affiliated to any university recognized by UGC.

Admissions to M.Tech courses at BIT are based on the candidates’ GATE score. Admission to MBA and MCA is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

List of the selected candidates for the admissions based on merit will be displayed on the notice board of the institute/ institute’s website.

Important points:

• Confirmation of the admission will be on the basis of verification of original documents and deposition of the first-semester course fee as mentioned in the prospectus of each course.
• The institute gives preference to the students who hold domicile certificate of the state.
• Application form might be rejected by the institute in case if any document submitted by the candidate is found to be fake. The candidate will be debarred for any further proceedings for the admission at the institute.
