Coimbatore Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2001 and is situated in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The institute is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

CIET Coimbatore B.E/B.Tech Admission 2023
The institute offers B.E/B.Tech programs in 7 specializations. Candidates should hold a valid 10+2 certificate with a minimum aggregate of 50% or equivalent CGPA in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics to be eligible for admission. A relaxation of 5% is provided to candidates belonging to OBC category and a relaxation of 10% to candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
Selection is based on TNEA counselling. It is a counselling process that is conducted by the Anna University. It offers admissions to candidates wishing to pursue Engineering degree in the state of Tamil Nadu. The counselling process shortlists candidates on the basis of their marks obtained in 10+2.

- Candidates who are not natives of Tamil Nadu and have not completed their 10+2 education in Tamil Nadu are required to provide a nativity certificate at the time of admission.

CIET Coimbatore M.E Admission 2023
The institute offers M.E in 6 specializations. They should hold a graduate degree with an aggregate of 55 % or equivalent in relevant stream from any recognized university.
Candidates with a valid GATE score can directly apply and are eligible for M.Tech. programs. Selection is done on the basis of a valid score in GATE only.

CIET Coimbatore offers an MBA program at the PG level. Candidates should hold a valid Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of 50 % or equivalent CGPA from any of the universities recognized by the Government of India to be eligible for admission.
Admission is based on the marks obtained in graduation.
