Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] {Lateral} (Electrical and Electronics Engineering) From DCE, Gurgaon

The institute offers B.Tech. under the following specializations for a duration of four years-

The intake of seats varies from program to program. 120 seats are offered under the stream of Computer Science and ECE and 60 seats are provided for each of the other specialization.

DCE Gurgaon B.Tech. Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech.

• Candidate must have passed senior secondary school from a reputed Board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry/Biotechnology or Biology/Technical Vocation subject. 
• He/she must have secured 50% marks in the aforementioned subjects when evaluated together.

B.Tech. (Lateral Entry)

• Students of Diploma in Engineering and Technology and B.Sc students with mathematics as subjects in class 12 are eligible for B.Tech Lateral Entry.
• Students seeking admission in B.Tech Lateral Entry get admission to 2nd year (3rd semester) of particular engineering discipline.
  Students must have a minimum of 50% marks in Diploma, to be eligible for the B.Tech Lateral Entry admission.

DCE Gurgaon B.Tech. Selection Criteria

The admissions to B.Tech program are done through centralized counseling based upon the inter-se-merit of JEE Main/ HSTES.  50% of the seats will be filled through entrance test scores and 50% through Direct Admission. 

DCE Gurgaon also offers direct admission for the students under the B.Tech program. Candidates need to fill in the application form and submit it. Based on the academic details, they will be called for further rounds of admission. 

Admission to the B.Tech. (Lateral Entry) program will be done on the basis of LEET followed by an online-off-campus counseling session.
