Admission to B.E./ B.Tech courses is done based on merit. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination or equivalent form a recognized board of education with minimum aggregate of 50% to apply for admission.

Francis Xavier Engineering College offers B.E. in seven specializations and M.Tech in Information Technology. - BC/MBC Scholarship: This is only for Government quota students whose parent’s annual income is less than INR 2, 00,000.
- Minority Scholarship: This scholarship is only available for Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist minority Student’s. To be eligible, the annual income of parent should be less than INR 2, 50,000 and student should have scored minimum 50% marks in the previous exam.
- Beedi Scholarship: This scholarship is only available for beedi worker student. The income of parent should be less than INR 10, 000 per month.
