G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology (GCET) is an engineering college in Vallabh Vidhyanagar, Gujarat, India. GCET was affiliated with Sardar Patel University(SPU) between 1996 to 2008, and later in 2008 it was affiliated to GTU (Gujarat Technological University.
The college offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) at undergraduate level and Master of Technology (M.Tech) at postgraduate level. Admission in B.Tech is done through JEE Main. In order to seek admission in M.Tech, eligible candidates will hae to appear in GATE or PGCET conducted by GTU

Master of Technology (M.Tech) is the next step of Engineering after B.Tech/B.E. The college offers this course in seven different specializations for a period of two years.
Candidates who are willing to take up M.Tech, will have to appear in General Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). Admission may also take place through Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) conducted by Gujarat Technological University (GTU).
Relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks is given to SC/ST/SEBC candidates in comparison to 50% for GENERAL candidates
