GKM College of Engineering and Technology is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. It was established in 1996 and is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. GKM College of Engineering and Technology B.Tech/B.E. Admission 2023
Admission to B.Tech/B.E. program is based upon the marks obtained in qualifying examinations. The basic eligibility criteria for this program is 12th in Science stream with minimum 50% marks with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as main subjects.
Candidates who have passed B.Sc. or Diploma in engineering with minimum 55% marks by the State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu or equivalent are eligible to apply for the lateral admissions to the program.

Important points:
- 5% relaxation for BC/BCM and 10% for MBC/SC/SCA/ST is given in qualifying exam.
- During the counselling, one must ensure the availability of seats as per the ranking in TNEA conducted by the Anna University as well as the merit based upon the qualifying examination.
- The College also offers lateral entry to second year in B.E./B.Tech. programs for which a candidate must have passed the Diploma or B.Sc. with 55 % minimum marks (5-10% marks relaxation for reserved category) from State Board of Technical Education or equivalent recognized University.

The college offers PG courses in M.E./MBA/MCA programs. Admission to M.E., MCA and MBA programs is merit based. The minimum qualification for this program is UG degree by Anna University or equivalent as prescribed by the Tamil Nadu Government.
