Geethanjali College of Engineering and Technology Admission 2024: Courses, Fees, Eligibility Criteria

GCET offers B.Tech. programme in 6 specializations. The minimum qualification for admission to first year B. Tech course is 50% pass in the Intermediate (10 + 2) conducted by the board of Intermediate education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects.

The specializations under B.Tech. are as follows:

• Computer Science and Engineering
• Electronics and Communication Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Information Technology

Eligibility Criteria

B.Tech: Candidates must have passed 10+2 exams with a minimum aggregate of 50%.

B.Tech (Lateral):  The candidates should have passed the Diploma in Engineering/Technology awarded by State Board of Technical Education, Telangana State or its equivalent.

Selection Process

B.Tech:

• The seats available for the course are divided into two categories A and B
• Category A has 70% of the total seats and admission is done through marks scored in TS-EAMCET
• Category B has 30% of the total seats and the seats are allotted under NRI/Management Quota
• EAMCET is conducted by conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE)
• The syllabus of the test is Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2 level.

B.Tech (Lateral)

Candidates should have qualified in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET) conducted by the government of Andhra Pradesh.

TS EAMCET Application Requirements

Students willing to appear for the Engineering exam have to pay a fee of INR 500, while SC/ST have to pay only INR 250. The following is a gist of the application and how to go about it:   

• TSCHE releases the application form at www.eamcet.tsche.ac.in.   
• There are 3 main steps involved in completing the TS EAMCET Application Form.
• The students must ensure that they fill the application and keep a print out of the payment receipt.
• Students are required to fill in their personal details and upload their recent photograph along with the signature

• Embedded Systems
• VLSI System Design
• Power Electronics

Eligibility Criteria

Passed with 50% in B.E./B.Tech/AMIE or equivalent.

Selection Process

• For M.Tech. programme, admission is done on the basis of TS-PGECET/GATE score and personal interview
• PGECET is being conducted by Osmania University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE)
• Syllabus for PGECET is different for all the streams.

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate

TS PGECET 2020 Requirements

To submit an application, visit the official website of TS PGECET 2020- www.pgecet.tsche.ac.in. 

• The first step is to register for the exam by providing the required details and pay the registration fee as per the candidate’s category. 
• After payment is made the applicant will receive a transaction ID and password on the registered Email ID and Mobile No. that was provided during registration.
• The applicant can fill the application and login with the credentials generated.
• After completing the application the applicants must upload their recent photograph and signature to complete the procedure.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed with 50% in the bachelor's degree (10+2+3) or equivalent

Selection Process

• For MBA programme, admission is done on the basis of TS-ICET score followed by the counselling
• ICET is conducted by Kakatiya University, Warangal on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE), Hyderabad.
• Syllabus for ICET: Analytical ability, Mathematical ability, Communication ability
• The test contains 200 questions for 200 marks and a time of 150 minutes is allotted to complete the test
