Government College of Engineering, Amravati, established in 1964 is an autonomous institute for Engineering & Technology which is located at Amravati, Maharashtra.
The institute was ranked 28 in Outlook India's "Top 100 Engineering Colleges In 2017 and ranked 45 in Outlook India’s Top Engineering Colleges of 2012.
Government College of Engineering, Amravati is affiliated to the Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and offers B.Tech programme under seven specializations and M.Tech programme under eight specializations which are certified by the NBA.
GCOEA also provides part time M.Tech programme under five specialisation and is also known for its recognized research centre for PhD programmes in a number of areas.
Admissions for the B.Tech programme is done on the basis of MHT-CET and JEE Main score cards. For the M.Tech programme, GATE score is considered.
