GEC offers six specializations under the B. Tech course. Candidates who have passed 10+2 in the Science stream are eligible to apply. For selection, they should have passed AP EAMCET (or JEE- Main). 

Specializations: 

Eligibility criteria: 

• 70% of the seats are filled by AP EAMCET. The rest are filled by the competent authority of the government of Andhra Pradesh. 
• The candidate should be at least 16 years old by 31 December of the academic year. 
• The candidate should have passed 10+2 in the Science stream. 

• The candidate should have scored 45% marks. 

Selection criteria: 

• Candidates from Andhra Pradesh have to take the AP EAMCET for selection. 
• Candidates from the rest of India have to take the JEE Main for selection. 

How to Apply for AP EAMCET? 

• Pay the application fee online (500 INR). 
• Enter the qualifying exam hall ticket number and mobile number, date of birth and stream. 
• Click on ‘Check Payment Status’. If payment is successful, fill out the form. 
• Upload scanned images of your passport size photo and signature. 
• After submitting the application, keep a printout for future reference. 

How to apply for JEE Main? 

• Visit the official website of JEE- Main 
• Register for the online application form 
• Make a note of the system-generated application number 
• Create a password 
• Log in again and fill out the form 
• Upload scanned images of photographs and signature 
• A fee of 650 INR (325 INR for reserved categories) will be charged/ It is to be paid through Debit card, Credit card, Net banking, UPI or Paytm. 
• Keep a printout of the application form for future use.

The institute invites applicants for B. Tech lateral entry. Candidates should have a B. Sc degree or a diploma in engineering to apply. For selection, they should have passed the ECET. 

GEC offers five specializations under the M. Tech course. Candidates who are interested in applying must have a B. Tech degree in the relevant field with 50% marks (45% for reserved category). For selection, they must have taken the GATE or AP PGECET.

• The candidate should have scored 50% marks. 

Selection criteria: 

• Candidates from Andhra Pradesh have to take the AP PGECET for selection. 
• Candidates from the rest of India have to take the GATE for selection. 

How to Apply for AP PGECET? 

• Pay the application fee online (1,000 INR). 
• Enter the qualifying exam hall ticket number and mobile number, date of birth and stream. 
• Click on ‘Check Payment Status’. If payment is successful, fill out the form. 
• Upload scanned images of your passport size photo and signature. 
• After submitting the application, keep a printout for future reference. 

How to apply for GATE? 

• Visit the official website 
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID and mobile number. 
• After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number. 
• Fill out the application form. 
• A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online. 
• Download the form and keep a printout for future reference. 

GATE counselling:

• Register at the official website 
• Fill out the application form 
• Pay the registration fee of 2,200 INR (1,700 INR for reserved categories) 
• Click on “I agree” 
• Start entering your choices. When it is done, lock the choices 
• Submit the application and keep a printout for future reference 

GEC offers 120 seats for the MBA course. To apply, a prospective student should have a Bachelor’s degree in any field with 50% marks, in addition to qualifying the AP ICET for selection.

• Pay the fee of 550 INR online 
• Fill out the application form, uploading necessary details 
• Submit the form and keep a printout for future reference
