Guru Nanak Institute of Technology (GNIT), Telangana offers Bachelor of technology (B.Tech) in six disciplines on the basis of candidates performance in the entrance test i.e. Engineering, Architecture and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET). Allotment of seats is done by Convener, EAMCET as per the stipulated rules of Telangana State Government.
Candidates must have passed Intermediate exam of Telangana State Intermediate Board or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as the compulsory subjects for admission to B.Tech.

Note: Candidates will be called for TSEAMCET counseling on the basis of the ranks secured by the candidates in the rank list. Rank list will be prepared on the basis of candidate’s score in the entrance test.
The institute also offers two years Masters of technology (M.Tech) program with an annual intake is 108 students. Selection to the M.Tech course is based on the candidate’s performance in Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET). Admissions are also done on the basis of candidate’s merit in GATE.
Candidates should have obtained B.tech degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks (45% in case of reserved category) from an AICTE/ UGC approved institution recognized by the Government of Telangana as equivalent thereto for admission into the relevant M.Tech courses.

The qualifying percentage marks for obtaining a rank in TSPGECET is 25% i.e. 30 marks out of total of 120. In case of SC/ ST candidates, there shall be no minimum qualifying marks for the candidates.
Note: While filling the seats in the college, first preference will be given to the candidates qualified in GATE based on their test scores and remaining seats with the candidates qualified in TS PGECET as per their ranks in the merit list.
For the current academic session, GNIT offers admission to MBA program admissions based on Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET), conducted by the State Government.
Candidates seeking admission to MBA should have studied and passed 3-year degree program from a recognized university or its equivalent degree examination under 10+2+3 pattern as recognized by UGC. For MBA admissions, candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10th level.

Candidates who have secured 25% qualifying marks in TSICET (50 out of 200) and those belonging to SC/ST who have not been prescribed any qualifying marks, shall be assigned the rank in the order of the merit based on performance in ICET.
Candidates appearing for the final year degree examination are also eligible to appear for TSICET.
